Just Tell Me What You Want: Keeping up With the Fickle Customer
The old saying of, “You can’t please everyone,” went out with “not wearing white past Labor day.” Restaurants, these days, must be everything to everyone, which means engaging with young customers on TikTok and Instagram while providing service with a smile to older customers. Plus, you have whole groups of customers who may not behave like the rest of their cohorts. Some boomers, for example, love ordering from kiosks as some “younger” customers will tell you technology is killing their social skills. What’s a brand to do?

Diane Matheson’s experience has taught her the importance of a relevant and differentiated brand. As Vice President of Marketing, Diane leads the brand management and marketing team, brining extensive background in brand, consumer and design strategy. Prior to Wings and Rings, Diane served as Brand Director at LPK, a global brand design agency, where she led the restage of some of the world’s most recognizable brands, including Pantene, Oil of Olay and Herbal Essences. Diane holds dual degrees in Marketing and Commercial Arts. She joined Wings and Rings in July of 2014.

Brad Voreis is Vice President of Strategic Marketing at Scorpion, where he focuses on maximizing clients’ overall web presence by helping them achieve their digital marketing goals. His unique background provides the insights needed to create and implement custom digital marketing solutions and tailored advertising campaigns for a diverse set of franchise systems. Prior to joining Scorpion, he served as the Vice President of Operations for Glass Doctor, a NeighborlyTM company (formerly The Dwyer Group) where he oversaw their North American operations as well as their digital initiatives. Prior to joining Neighborly, Brad was a Glass Doctor Franchisee in the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex where he achieved consistent double-digit annual sales growth.
